Use of this blog

This blog was created by orders from Mrs. C. Comino.
I had to create a blog, where I have to write how I feel about the book and answer many other questions, related to the book.
More informations can be found under: https://sites.google.com/site/englishreadingblog/
I have chosen a book called "Fahrenheit 451" which was written by "Ray Bradbury" in the year 1953.

REFLECTION - My first impressions of the book:
Until now, I've never read an english book, but there's always a first time. Actually I was quite impressed, about how hard it was to fully understand the sentences in the book. When looking for a book to choose, I decided to take one with a *** rating on the level just to challenge myself and as it turned out now, I really do have a challenge in understanding the story of the book. But I'm still motivated to read it until the end, even if I might won't understand everything. I think I made it even harder for myself by choosing a book, which plays in the past where things where a lot different. For example I still don't get it, why firemen would have the order to burn down books and not to protect the population from fire. Hopefully things will become clearer in the next few pages...

  1. Hello Özhan your book sounds really interesting but not that easy to read. You wrote well what your first impressions are. And you also summerised the first part of the book well.

    Your page looks nice, like the other blogs you have (;

    Is there a film to the book? Ithink I have already heard about the name Fahrenheit.

    Whatever you have done a good work.

    1. Sorry Daniel. I had to change a few things on my first entry, since I realized, that I answered way too many questions and I just realized that we have to stick with 1 - 2 questions per entry.

    2. Hey Özhan!

      I like that you took a book with a more difficult text comprehension. Your blog-layout looks very cool! I just saw the "Fahrenheit 451" Trailer and it looks interesting to me. I hope I can see more about your blog entries and maybe you can persuade me to read this book too. Go on with your Blog and thank you for your post you`ve written in my Blog! (70 words)
